Let sleeping dogs lie...

David has been taking a whole slew of Dahlia pictures since we got her and I noticed that they all seemed to be kind of...well...blue tinged! I didn't quite have the heart to tell him that I thought his camera didn't take good pictures (considering it's a fancy SLR! lol). I did mention yesterday that they looked kind of blue tinged and we chalked it up to its focusing on her fur.

Today he checked the settings on the camera.

He accidentally turned the white balance to flouerescent. Oops. He put it back to either auto or something else and created took this photo. :-)

Aww! Makes me wish Faith's fur was longer. I just want to lay down next to her and give her a big hug! =)

We LOVE her longer fur. That was one thing David and I really wanted -- we both like a dog you can sink your hands into. We're definitely long haired dog people, even though I love dogs of all kinds!

I was thinking, Lab and Border Collie has got to be an amazing combination. The Border Collie would make the Lab a little smarter and the Lab would mellow out the Border Collie. She's such a beautiful girl.

And that seems to be exactly what it's done. She's smart, but mellow. She herds but with a silly lab grin. We were looking for things about the cross on the internet and found out it's apparently a very desired one! We had no idea.

My husband's father has a lab/BC mix who is the opposite of Dahlia. The BC wasn't mellowed AT ALL! =D
